For the 14th instalment of the Audi Innovation Series, Audi Canada welcomed the prolific actor, Stellan Skarsgård. Hosted at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto, returning moderator Dwight Drummond led a candid discussion with Mr. Skarsgård about his celebrated career spanning five decades, his latest roles, and the importance of taking creative risks.
"You need to be in an environment that allows you to make mistakes," said Mr. Skarsgård. "My kids have grown up in a family where the father says, 'I'm fallible—I make mistakes. You go ahead and make mistakes, too.' It's an invitation to tolerance—which is important," he added.
YBIMC led the program in full, shaping both its framework and tone, ensuring consistency within the series—and reinforcing that innovation is best understood through dialogue. From event management through to media relations and creative production, each layer worked in tandem like the humming parts of an electric motor. Resulting coverage moved quickly across national broadcast, digital, and print channels, carrying the conversation into a wider public sphere.
"Having one of the most respected and accomplished actors join us on the Audi Innovation Stage was truly inspiring," said Vito Paladino, President at Audi Canada. "Mr. Skarsgård has constantly chosen roles that push boundaries and spark meaningful conversations. His career has left a profound mark on film and continues to influence generations of storytellers."
