With Hollywood’s biggest names returning to the city, 2024 was already shaping up to be an exciting year at the Toronto International Film Festival. For YBIMC, it marked a momentous festival, with the agency celebrating its 15th anniversary and long-term history of hosting events for cinematic premieres.
Event design began with narrative; venue design, décor, lighting direction, and partner selection were carefully curated to reflect the emotional register of each film. Behind the scenes, disciplined event management held the week together and the team's years of experience translated into seamless coordination of multiple productions unfolding at the same time.
Through partnership marketing efforts and expert collaborators, YBIMC helped create access to media impressions in record numbers by creating branded presence at the premieres of The Last Showgirl, We Live in Time, Eden and The Assessment through media backdrops and stylized event décor.
To help celebrate the premieres of The Fire Inside, Conclave, and Piece by Piece – all among the most anticipated films of the festival that went on to receive critical acclaim – YBIMC conceived, produced, and managed all details related to the exceptional events that would host studio executives, talent, filmmakers, and exclusive guests.
The YBIMC digital team was proud to hit a TIFF red carpet gala presentation representing Amazon MGM Studios and Warner Bros. Canada for the World Premiere of The Fire Inside, interviewing the film's leading talent for exclusive owned digital content.
