About Your Role
As a Graphic Designer at YBIMC, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and execute communications strategy for world-class brands. You will have the opportunity to work on public relations, digital and experiential marketing, showcasing your strong capabilities with both static and motion graphics. You’ll be tasked with photo & video editing, layout and design, copywriting, and copyediting. The success of this role is tied to your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and your unique set of communication skills conveyed through visual outputs.
As part of our integrated marketing team at YBIMC, you are accountable for:
• Collaborating with team leads, develop compelling and visually arresting images, mock-ups and creative concepts.
• Strategizing event design, experiential design and ad campaigns.
• Conceiving, producing and executing flat & motion graphics.
• Building and nurturing relationships with print, digital and brand experience suppliers.
• Developing creative assets across all areas of the agency – from events and brand partnerships to advertising campaigns and presentations.
• Working cross-functionally with other departments to add value for our clients and the agency.
• Brainstorming creative ideas, supporting with existing and new client’s pitching.
• Staying up to date on the creative services industry, tools and breakthroughs, and be well-versed on trend-setting design.

What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years’ (post-internship) experience with an agency, media outlet, brand, publishing house or similar.
• A strong portfolio of creative work which showcases in-depth knowledge of creative design techniques for print, social and interactive media.
• Proven success producing and editing video for marketing and/or social campaigns.
• Expert knowledge of flat layout with a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory and principles of design.
• Previous work in creating compelling copy to accompany imagery.
• A keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to typography.
• Demonstrable skills with Adobe Apps (or equivalent) including Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop with the ability to learn and become proficient with emerging creative software types.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook and have a working knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and visual.
• Pride in being organized, self-motivated and deadline-driven.
• A proven track record of following a robust schedule of activity and delivering on deadlines.
• A strong portfolio of creative work which showcases in-depth knowledge of creative design techniques for print, social and interactive media.
