Kris is the founder and president of Your Brand Integrated Marketing Communications. With a diverse background in advertising, journalism, publishing, brand marketing, event management, public relations, consumer research, creative services and digital marketing, Kris brings 20+ years of leadership experience to the agency. It was his wide-ranging expertise within various marketing disciplines and industries that prompted Kris to create YOUR BRAND – a pioneering integrated marketing agency in Canada. Previous to the near decade he has spent leading YOUR BRAND, Kris was a global publishing director at TIME-Warner, where he led TIME Magazine’s Style & Design publication around the world.
Julie is the Managing Director of YOUR BRAND’s YBVOCAL division. Overseeing media relations, experiential and integration teams, Julie understands the importance of managing a brand’s image and shaping the conversation through insightful storytelling and immersive customer experiences. She inspires YOUR BRAND’s communication experts through a collaborative approach to creative problem solving. A client-focused strategic thinker, Julie thrives on delivering smart solutions while acting in leadership, team and mentoring roles. Julie joined YOUR BRAND in 2017 – bringing 20+ years of experience from US and Canadian media agency, publishing and advertising sales industries. She has held key roles at FCB, Parade, TIME Inc., TIME Canada and TC Media – always driving corporate growth through strong client service. A true believer that emotional connections for brands result in lasting relationships, Julie has instilled a customer-centric focus to the core of everything YBVOCAL does.
Sean is the managing director of YBDISPURT, the digital and creative division of YOUR BRAND. As head of the division, Sean believes that all digital marketing must begin with purpose. Living in a world of data, Sean leads his team to use uncovered insights and meticulous research to drive all activity – from the creative that is produced, to the distribution channels employed, to unlocking a competitive edge and delivering optimal campaign performance for clients. Having joined YOUR BRAND in 2017, Sean brings with him 15+ years of leadership experience at top media companies in Canada, including TIME Inc., Rogers Media, VICE, and TUG. A data-driven and insightful digital marketer, Sean has created multiple award-winning programs that have earned various Media Innovation Awards for campaigns designed for Microsoft and General Motors.
William Lopez is YOUR BRAND’s Vice President, Integrated Accounts. With 15+ years as a marketing communications specialist, William is YOUR BRAND’s project management and operations lead for stakeholders and internal teams. He bridges cross division disciplines, execution and creative to ensure excellence in managing our clients’ brands. His experience in alcohol/beverage, entertainment, financial and consumer goods communications has led him to work on multiple award-winning campaigns in the categories of sponsorship & integration, sales & distribution, and editorial features. Prior to joining YOUR BRAND in 2009, William worked for leading global brands including TIME Inc. and Straumann Group. He is a performance-driven, strategic and multi-talented communicator who excels in optimizing growth on behalf of clients; a team player and integral part of YOUR BRAND’s senior management team. Simply put, William drives conversations to deliver brand-centric results.
Taylor is the art & content director with YBDISPURT. Steadfastly driving the creative team to produce compelling and captivating content, Taylor puts quality creative at the core of his effort. Taylor believes that strong creative needs to be clear in its message, story or purpose, while also always maintaining visual beauty. As Taylor is known to say, message and aesthetics must always be paired. Prior to joining YOUR BRAND in 2017, Taylor spent 10+ years art-directing and designing award-winning creative work with a variety of acclaimed publications and media companies, including Toronto Star Digital, Cottage Life, and Maclean’s. Throughout those years of working in editorial, Taylor honed his skills in presenting stories through visual design, photography, and a combination of other mediums.
