About Your Role
As an Experiential Brand Ambassador at YBIMC you’ll have the opportunity to strategically build in-market presence while shaping and executing experiential campaigns for exciting world-class brands. You’ll be tasked with retaining, growing, and diversifying licensee accounts while uncovering educational, sampling and exposure opportunities through strong relationships with the Canadian hospitality industry. As a key brand spokesperson, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our clients’ business goals and leverage agency resources to deliver results. You’ll grow as a person and a leader in your field and be part of a passionate team of integrated marketing professionals who are committed to the success of our partners and each other.
As an Experiential Brand Ambassador at YBIMC, you are accountable for:
•Map opportunities and develop relationships within North American (US/ Canada) hospitality industry, influencing and supporting listings/ distribution efforts for on-premise and off-premise accounts. Core focus is Toronto and Vancouver.
•Ensure brand exposure through POS materials distribution and education.
•Create and leverage sampling opportunities with industry influencers and consumers, promoting trial and brand awareness/ education.
•Map industry influencers and person of interest within hospitality industry and develop campaigns focusing on increasing brand loyalty and advocacy.
•Act as a pundit and talking head for publicity opportunities with North America media in the space of entertainment, mixology, lifestyle, industry and more
•Tap into grassroots and partnership marketing opportunities to uncover sampling opportunities (liquid-on-lips) for brand
What We’re Looking For
•4+ years’ experience within the sales and marketing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
•2+ years’ experience working within Canadian food service & hospitality
•Experience influencing senior leadership through relationship building
•Experience managing and adhering to a budget
•Expert-level project management and communication skills
•Availability for travel within Canada and the United States
•A strategic and analytical approach to problem solving
•Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams to support business and client objectives
•A passion for consuming media in all forms
•Uncanny ability to present ideas succinctly
•Strong interpersonal skills
